Regular informal photography events in Manchester and the surrounding area for like minded creative adults.

Each month there are a minimum of 3 Camera Culture Manchester Group events, organised for you by professional photographer Alex Jerman. An experienced photographer with good local knowledge, so you can just turn up and join in. Photography Workshops and one to one tuition are also available.

   Enjoy the safety and sociable side of photographing in a group, plus have the help and ideas of a professional photographer when you need it

You can try a photography meet up or artwalk for free to see if you like the group

annual membership for 2008 is 

£55 or £45 concessions with an extra month free in your first year, with a chance to win £20 of photography equipment vouchers if you join from February to the end of September 2008, or pay per event £8.50

The group started in March 2007, and we have around 20 members, with lots of different ages and levels of experience in photography from point and shooters to experienced photographers. 

Each event attracts a small  friendly group

Make new wild friends

' I set up Camera Culture Manchester as an alternative to the traditional camera club, to bring creative people together no matter what their level of experience. I hope people will be inspired to make some great images and new friends too. Its a photography, art and cultural social events group; I couldn't find one like this, so I set one up!
